At this point I can only assume that the Nextcloud desktop sync client is fucked up worse than when it would crash whenever there was a problem with the Explorer/NTFS sync service. Now it keeps trying to sync, and failing quietly thinking that it worked. And then starting again. And again. And again. And again. Without a single fucking thing actually syncing.
I wish there were affordable third party managed service providers of nextcloud
@threalist I've had few problems running my own Nextcloud instance -- the biggest issue I've had with it honestly is simply I don't have a big pipe to outside the house. But the Windows desktop client has always been fucky one way or the other.
@coldacid @threalist I'm running my own Nextcloud instance and it's great but I do agree that the biggest issue I have is performance because the lack of fast outgoing internet connection. I've never tried the Windows client so I can't comment on that.
