@adam and @Johncdvorak often refer to specific books for reference material during the shows; for example "Snow Crash", "The Day After Roswell", and "Professor Ted's Thesis".

Over the years, several producers have assembled the books on to suggested reading list(s). Here are two of the lists.

"Bill Gates, the Microsoft founder and world’s second-richest man, took 59 flights in 2017 travelling more than 200,000 miles, according to the study by academics at Lund University. The report estimated that Gates’ private jet travel....emitted about 1,600 tonnes of carbon dioxide. That compares to a global average of less than five tonnes per person."

"I think it fairly clear that in this context we just cannot afford for people to make the choice to be unvaccinated.

"I'm just throwing stuff out to say there are ways to do this, what if for example every time you renewed your drivers sticker, like the sticker that went on your license plate, you had to proof to the government that you were vaccinated. Right, if that were true within the course of a year you would basically get a lot people saying 'oh I either can't drive or I have to get vaccinated' that's alot of people."

I read this in the paper tonight. "Last Friday, Ford announced that capacity limits on restaurants, bars, gyms, casinos and other indoor spaces that require vaccine certificates would be lifted Monday. Barber shops, salons and other venues also won't have to impose physical distancing, provided they opt in on vaccine certification." That last sentence is a doozy.

Shhhh don't tell the World Economic Forum, but in the Elizabethan Era you needed a license to eat meat on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. 🤣

It's so funny the things governments decide they must control.

ITM! Thanks to @pjd3 for setting up my new mastodon instance social.stracknet.com! Question for mastodon experts... How do I subscribe to the entire NAS instance? I want anyone who signs up for my instance to have NAS in their timeline without having to follow each person... Any thoughts?

It's still No Agenda's 14th Anniversary Week (and they never had a fight!). GO DONATE!

It's also the 2nd anniversary for this nutty (and super fun) hobby of mine.

Aaannnnd. . .this is also the 100th episode of ANA. Celebratory cake and cheap prosecco in plastic cups are available at the Craft Services table. ;)

If you have kids age 5-11, and it has full FDA approval, will you give them the vaccine?

Boost for larger sample.

@adam Everyone needs at least one Pi to learn and mess around with. Having a PiHole is a necessity!
